Dsk Mode – Privacy Policy
Dsk Mode is made by an indie developer. Your privacy is respected and terms & services are simple.
Accessibility Service Permission:
What: Dsk Mode accesses your device’s Accessibility Service.
Why: To provide a desktop-like taskbar overlay with quick access to your favorite and recently used apps.
When: Only when you enable the Desk Mode accessibility service in your device settings.
What NOT: The Accessibility Service does not read, log, or store any data from other apps or your screen. It only allows Dsk Mode to display the taskbar overlay and respond to your interactions with it.
No Sharing: The accessibility service functionality does not share any data with third parties.
Note: This service itself does not collect any data. The app separately collects analytics and crash data as listed below in the ‘What’s collected and processed’ section.
What’s collected and processed:
- Crash & error reports – only so I can fix bugs and make the app better.
- Basic app usage info – helps me understand which features are useful.
- Firebase Analytics data – tracks your app usage to improve your experience.
- Firebase Crashlytics data – crash reports and error data to help fix bugs faster.
- Device IDs – needed for App integrity and license verifications. Additionally, Google AdMob uses this ID to serve ads.
- Email – only if you subscribe to the developer newsletter or purchase Support Dev Pack.
All data is processed securely through Firebase services and Google Play services. No personal information is sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
