Accessibility Service

CoverBattery Indicator uses an Accessibility Service to display a battery indicator overlay (bar or ring) on your flip phone’s cover screen and lock screen. This is required by Android to render persistent screen overlays. The service monitors battery level changes and screen power state to update the indicator display. It does not read screen content, passwords, keystrokes, or any personal data. It does not share this access with any third party.

Important: The accessibility service itself does not collect any data. The app separately collects analytics and crash data as listed below in the “What’s collected and processed” section.

What’s collected and processed:

1. Crash & error reports – only so I can fix bugs and make the app better.

2. Basic app usage info – helps me understand which features are useful.

3. Firebase Analytics data – tracks your app usage to improve your experience.

4. Firebase Crashlytics data – crash reports and error data to help fix bugs faster.

5. Device IDs – needed for app integrity and license verifications.

6. Email – only if you subscribe to the developer newsletter or purchase Support Dev Pack.
