CoverWidgets is made by an indie developer. Your privacy is respected and terms & services are simple.

Accessibility Service Permission

CoverWidgets needs the Accessibility Service permission to function properly:

What this permission enables:
• Add and display your favorite widgets on the cover screen
• Keep your cover screen widgets live and responsive
• Ensure widgets update correctly on your cover display

Privacy Note:
• We don’t collect, store, or transmit any personal data through the accessibility service.
• This permission is used solely to maintain CoverWidgets functionality on your cover screen.

Important: The accessibility service itself does not collect any data. The app separately collects analytics and crash data as listed below in the “What’s collected and processed” section.

What’s collected and processed:

1. Crash & error reports – only so I can fix bugs and make the app better.

2. Basic app usage info – helps me understand which features are useful.

3. Firebase Analytics data – tracks your app usage to improve your experience.

4. Firebase Crashlytics data – crash reports and error data to help fix bugs faster.

5. Device IDs – needed for app integrity and license verifications. Additionally, Google AdMob uses this ID to serve ads.

6. Email – only if you subscribe to the developer newsletter or purchase Support Dev Pack.
