Accessibility Service Permission

CoverTweaks uses an Accessibility Service to customize your Samsung cover screen experience.

What this permission enables:
– Detect cover screen events
– Perform swipe gestures on cover screen
– Detect Quick Toggle long presses
– Show notification action buttons on cover screen

Privacy Note:
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. These permissions are used solely for cover screen functionality.

Important: The accessibility service itself does not collect any data. The app separately collects analytics and crash data as listed below in the What is collected and processed section.

Notification Access Permission

CoverTweaks uses Notification Listener Service to read and display notification actions.

What this permission enables:
– Read notification action buttons
– Execute notification actions on cover screen

Privacy Note:
Notification content is read only to display actions on the cover screen. No notification data is collected, stored, or transmitted.

Important: The notification listener does not collect any data. The app separately collects analytics and crash data as listed below.

What is collected and processed:

1. Crash and error reports – only so I can fix bugs and make the app better.

2. Basic app usage info – helps me understand which features are useful.

3. Firebase Analytics data – tracks your app usage to improve your experience.

4. Firebase Crashlytics data – crash reports and error data to help fix bugs faster.

5. Device IDs – needed for app integrity and license verifications. Additionally, Google AdMob uses this ID to serve ads.

6. Email – only if you subscribe to the developer newsletter or purchase Support Dev Pack.
