CoverPop Notifications is made by an indie developer. Your privacy is respected and terms & services are simple.
Accessibility Service Permission
CoverPop Notifications needs accessibility service permission to display notification pop-ups on your cover screen.
What this permission enables:
• Display notification overlays on your cover screen
• Turn your screen on/off to display cover screen notifications
Privacy Note:
• We don’t collect, store, or transmit any personal data
• This permission is used solely for displaying notification pop-ups on your cover screen
• Your notification content stays private on your device
Important: The accessibility service itself does not collect any data. The app separately collects analytics and crash data as listed below in the “What’s collected and processed” section.
Notification Listener Permission
CoverPop Notifications uses Notification Listener Service to read and display your notifications on the cover screen.
What this permission enables:
• Read incoming notifications from other apps
• Display notification content as pop-ups on your cover screen
Privacy Note:
• We don’t send notification content to any server
• All notification data is processed locally on your device
• Your notification content stays private
Important: The notification listener service itself does not collect or transmit any notification data. The app separately collects analytics and crash data as listed below.
What’s collected and processed:
1. Crash & error reports – only so I can fix bugs and make the app better.
2. Basic app usage info – helps me understand which features are useful.
3. Firebase Analytics data – tracks your app usage to improve your experience.
4. Firebase Crashlytics data – crash reports and error data to help fix bugs faster.
5. Device IDs – needed for app integrity and license verifications. Additionally, Google AdMob uses this ID to serve ads.
6. Email – only if you subscribe to the developer newsletter or purchase Support Dev Pack.
